Students can continue their schooling at Margaret Avenue Public School, which takes students from JK to Grade 8. Once they’re ready for highschool, children will attend Bluevale Collegiate Institute for Grade 9 to 12. 

Looking to send your children to Catholic school? St. Teresa Catholic Elementary School is a short bus ride down Lancaster and takes students from JK to Grade 8. Once they’ve graduated, they’ll attend St. David Catholic Secondary School.

Bridgeport, although it has a country-side atmosphere, still has great access to public transit. You can commute easily by jumping on the expressway at Bridgeport Road or Lancaster Street. GRT bus routes run regularly throughout the neighbourhood, which will take you to the Conestoga Mall transit hub. Here you can grab the ION to head Uptown Waterloo, Downtown Kitchener, and all the way to Fairview Mall.
