Cherry Hill’s location is ideal for those looking to utilize Grand River Transit’s public transit options to commute to work. Throughout the neighbourhood routes, 4 and 20 can take you through downtown and loop back to Waterloo’s Boardwalk terminal. Iron Horse Trail

Iron Horse Trail runs through Cherry Hill along a former railway path. This makes the trail a scenic and historic landmark for the city. Many may not know that this route is part of the Trans Canada Trail and stretches around 5 km. The trail joins both Uptown Waterloo and Downtown Kitchener. It was made in an effort between the two cities to preserve a historic passage by turning it into a trail for recreational purposes.
