North of Cherry Hill is Uptown Waterloo; this district is a fantastic mix of retail entertainment and restaurants that are easy to access and all within short walks of multiple GRT and LRT transit options. Many famous festivals and events happen in Uptown Waterloo’s Centre Square, such as the Sun Life FInancial Jazz Festival, Sun Life Financial Buskers Carnival and Waterloo’s winter festival Winterloo.
Located on Agnes street is BATL: Backyard Axe throwing League’s Kitchener location; It can host 2-90 people with 20 axe throwing stations with digital scoring.
Off of Victoria Street South and Strange Street is Victoria Bowling Lanes, a long-standing tenant of the Kitchener entertainment community. Offering bowling, food, and drinks Victoria bowling is a family-friendly venue that provides food and drinks along with bowling.

Graffiti Market + Red Circle Coffee Co.
Located at Catalyst137, Graffiti Market began with the singular goal of fuelling the creative spirit in its staff and community through a unique mixture of food, art and technology. Graffiti Market also offers Smart tables that display local graffiti and urban artists’ work, if you’re looking for a treat for all the senses you can find this unique restaurant off of Glasgow and Belmont.
This venue also is the first of its kind; it acts as a microbrewery, coffee roaster and bakery. Red Circle Coffee Co. offers incredible caffeinated drinks paired with delicious fresh bakery items.
Located at 175 Strange Ave is City Cafe, a locally renowned bakery that excels in freshly baked goods and exceptional customer service. It does not take debit or credit as it is a cash-only business that runs on the honour system, asking customers to pay in change. It is a nice change to the standard cafe format and offers specialty goods like fresh personalized pizzas and baked goods.
Mcmullan’s is a Kitchener Waterloo based set of pubs; the first opened on the corner of Princess and King street in Waterloo’s uptown, and the second is their Kitchener location on Highland and Patricia. It is a classic pub offering great food and drinks located in the heart of Cherry Hill.

On Cherry Hill’s Westside is Belmont Family Medical Centre, which offers primary care services including but not limited to prenatal care, pediatric care, urgent care and periodic health exams. Directly South, you will find St. Mary’s General Hospital, one of the Waterloo Region’s leading experts in Cardiology. North of Cherry Hill is Grand River Hospital, the region’s leader in cancer treatment and newborn delivery.
