Getting to and from Country Hills is a breeze because if the GRT Bus Station is located at Forest Glen, residents can take iXpress routes straight to Conestoga Mall, Fairview Mall and Conestoga College. The 201 runs along Fischer Hallman, taking riders to Conestoga Mall if you’re attending The University of Waterloo or Wilfrid Laurier University, this is the route for you. If you’re looking to take a trip to Cambridge or Doon, the 16 and the 33 will take you there, and if you’re looking to travel to Waterloo’s east side, hop on route 22.

Parks

Within the neighbourhood of Country Hills, you’ll find Country Hills Park beside Country Hills School. This park has a beautiful wide-open field, baseball diamond and playground for residents to enjoy. 

You’ll find Steckle Woods on the southeast side of Country Hills; this dense forest offers residents a reprieve with its trail and beautiful wildlife. 

North of Country Hills is McLennan Park, one of the biggest public parks in the region. It’s well known for its peak that provides a full 360 view of Kitchener Waterloo, dirt bike courses, an enclosed dog park, a waterpark, volleyball courts and hiking trails.
