Public school students have two options: they will either attend Lexington Public School from JK – grade 6, then switch to Margaret Avenue School for grades 7 & 8, or they will attend Margaret Avenue School from JK all the way through to grade 8.

All children attend Bluevale Collegiate Institute for their high school education.

For parents looking to send their children to a Catholic School, St. Matthew’s Elementary School offers Kindergarten to grade 8 and is highly ranked as one of the top 10 schools in Waterloo Region.

For high school, St. David’s Catholic Secondary School offers grades 9-12 and is conveniently situated at Weber Street & King Street in Waterloo.

Need to run some errands? The University Downs Plaza is located right off of University Avenue and GRT bus route 202 will take you right to it. Lexington has excellent GRT service, with four routes running throughout the neighbourhood. All of them will take you back to Conestoga Mall, where you can transfer to the ION Light Transit Rail and be Uptown Waterloo or Downtown Kitchener in minutes.

If you’re commuting to Kitchener, Cambridge, Toronto, Elmira, or St. Jacobs, you’ll be able to catch the expressway both North and South off of University Avenue, just 5 minutes from home.
