If you take a short trip north on Fischer-Hallman Road, you’ll find Sunrise Shopping Centre at the intersection of Ottawa Street South.

If you are looking to commute the university area, you can hop on the 201 iXpress that goes along Fischer-Hallman or take the route 12 Westmount that loops between either end of the city stopping at Conestoga Mall and Fairview Mall. Routes 22 and 33 give residents easy access to Laurentian West and Huron, respectively; these two are newer routes meant to give Kitchener’s southernmost neighbourhoods access.
Williamsburg is fortunate enough to be located in a relatively undeveloped area of Kitchener as the south side of the neighbourhood is bordered by open fields.
